Day 3 in Caesarea/Haifa/Nazareth/Galilee
We left Tel Aviv this morning and drove to Caesarea. It's an ancient Roman port and aqueduct. Really pretty overall and they had a penny smusher (actually a sheckle smusher!) The weather was great too- I changed into capris! We then drove to Mt. Carmel for an amazing view! We drove to Haifa and saw the Baha'i Shrine and gardens- which were also breathtaking. A quick lunch stop and then to Nazareth to see the Basilica of the Annunciation (and a bit of shopping). Now we're in Galilee at a Kibbutz hotel, which is interesting. An exhausting day, but interesting and we couldn't have asked for better weather. The pictures are my smushed sheckles and the view from the kibbutz.
