First day of school

Guess where we went today? Oh yes, it was Foamhenge! What is Foamhenge you ask?

Foamhenge is a full-size replica of Stonehenge made entirely out of styrofoam in Natural Bridge, Virginia. The structure was created by Mark Cline of Enchanted Castle Studio.

Foamhenge “appeared” on property in Natural Bridge Virginia on April Fool’s Day 2004 . Called one of the ‘Top 25 strangest roadside attractions’, Foamhenge is popular with travel writers and tourists alike. Foamhenge has appeared on MSNBC, Fox, Discovery Channel, and TBS. Foamhenge has been in National Geographic for Kids, the Washington Post, USA Today, several international magazines, and several books, including the cover of “Strange But True Virginia”.

It's awesome!
