A WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 10 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM EDT MONDAY.

* AREAS AFFECTED: THE VIRGINIA EASTERN SHORE AND THE UPPER MIDDLE PENINSULA.

* HAZARDS: SNOW AND SLEET... POSSIBLY MIXED WITH FREEZING RAIN WEST OF THE BAY.

* ACCUMULATIONS: 1 TO 3 INCHES OF SNOW AND SLEET. LESS THAN ONE TENTH INCH OF ICE WEST OF THE CHESAPEAKE BAY.

* TEMPERATURES: UPPER 20S TO LOWER 30S.

* WINDS: NORTHEAST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 45 MPH.

* TIMING: AFTER MIDNIGHT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS: ROADS MAY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY. TRAVEL MAY BE DANGEROUS... ESPECIALLY TONIGHT THROUGH THE MORNING RUSH ON MONDAY.

Washington DC!

This weekend we went to Washington DC for a quick adventure! We took a tour of the White House and then sat outside by the Washington Monument and enjoyed the sun. We also wandered around the Smithsonian and checked out the new exhibits. It was a wonderful weekend!
