First day of school

VA Transition Forum

For the past three days I was in Roanoke at the Virginia Transition Forum. The theme this year was "Technology for Transition: Making the Connection."

Drawing close to 1,000 participants annually, The Virginia Transition Forum brings together students, parents, educators, rehabilitation professionals, and others to guide youth with disabilities to achieve successful employment and life outcomes.

The forum was quite interesting and featured a wide variety of sessions including information on "i'm determined," technology, data collection, student achievements and ipads. While some of the sessions were better than others, overall I did enjoy it. And, I learned a lot!
