First day of school

Bucket list

I’m not sure if any of you know, but I actually have a bucket list (it’s sort of like a scrapbook) I actually created a mini-bucket list for this summer (some of the items are from my big bucket list). I’ve done a fair amount – and I still have about a month left! Any suggestions?

Things to do over the summer:

_X_ Travel to another country (I went to Mexico, Haiti and Jamaica!)

_X_ Use all major forms of transportation (plane, boat, car, train, etc) (Everything but a motorcycle!)

_X_ Go to a museum (Museum of Natural History)

_X_ Go to an aquarium (Aquarium in Charleston, NC)

_X_ See someone famous (Saw Will Ferrell in the museum!)

_X_ Relax! (I spent a few days sitting inside resting!)

_X_ Visit friends (That’s been my entire summer)

_X_ Travel somewhere I’ve always wanted to go (Finally went to LA and saw the Hollywood sign!)

_X_ Go to a wedding (I’ve been to one so far, I have another coming up this week)

_X_ Go snorkeling  (In Jamaica!)

_X_ Take a tour of something (We took a tour of Juliette Lowe’s house!)

_X_ Eat somewhere unique (We went to Phillipe’s –the home of the French dipped sandwich!)

_X_ Visit a birthplace (We went to Juliette Lowe’s house in Savannah, GA)

_X_ See a 3-D movie (I saw Toy Story 3 in 3-D! It was sooo good!)

First day of school

Totally met Will Ferrell!

Today I went to the Museum of Natural History to see their new exhibits and to meet up with Christina, who I haven’t seen in about 6 years (She lived upstairs freshman year of college, but then transferred. So, we’ve been pen pals every since)

But one of the most exciting parts of the day was seeing Will Ferrell! (We really did!)

Were in the snakes and lizards exhibition and there he was! Totally standing there with his family! I quietly went over and got his autograph and spoke to him for a few minutes about the museum. I also took some creeper pictures (We decided that we shouldn’t make a big scene, because then he couldn’t enjoy the museum!) But, Will Ferrell! WOO!

All in all, it was a wonderful day! J
