Students work for office supplies apparently....
So, I have this fancy pen in my desk that's one of those heavy ball point pens. One of my students saw it.
Student: "Miss R, what kind of pen is that?"
Me: "It's a fancy pen."
Student: "Is it unique?"
Me: "Of course it's unique! It's from NJ and you live in VA!"
Student: "Can I have it?"
Me: "Only if you get a good grade on a test and earn it."
Student: "Okay."
(An hour later the student comes back with an A on a reading test)
Student: "I got a good grade, can I have the pen now?"
I apparently have students that will work for office supplies. He asked for a small stapler next.
