First day of school

BOSTON! Yup, that's where I am.

I'm not at Hofstra right now. I'm sitting in Alex's dorm room at Northeastern in Boston. Yup, that's right. I took a bus out here yesterday and I'm staying until tomorrow (We're off today and tomorrow for Jewish holidays and my classes yesterday were cancelled). It was a pretty random trip, but we're having fun!

I took the train into the city and then took the Grayhound bus out here. I came in around dinner time last night and we stopped by his dorm and then had dinner in the dining hall with some of his friends. It's a really nice dining hall! (they have real plates and everything!)Afterwards we wandered around for a bit and then met up with Jon Webster (yup, he goes here now too) and we all went to a coffee place. It's strange though because everything closed around 11pm. I'm not used to that at all. Where are the diners for our 2am bagel run? Hmm... We returned to his dorm and ended up hanging out with the girls next door attacking this strange mellon-like thingy... interesting.

I got to sleep in the fort last night, which was AWESOME! However, I don't think I can do that with my room because there might be mice like creatures... not good. Anyway, today we got up and just finished our walking tour around the town. We left Northeastern and went down Newbery Street (this fancy street) and ended up in Quincy Market where we wandered around. We tried on silly hats, ate soup, took goofy pictures and wandered. Now I'm back in Alex's dorm because he has a lab, so I'm going to do some stuff online and then go sit outside and study. Tonight we're going to the Aquarium and then cooking dinner. :) Good times!

It's a great break from school. :)
