Live journal is back! Yay! :)
First of all, I'm happy that live journal is back. :)
Here's something to ponder: (and my rant for this evening)
Why do you read live journals of people that you haven't spoken to in ages?
Now, I understand that live journals are addicting because I myself am addicted. And, in some cases it's my main form of communication with people. It's easier to type out one thing for everyone to read than to tell the same story over and over again. (even though you all know that I love telling the same story 17 millions times)
Anyway, but I check live journals of people that I haven't spoken to in a while. Why is that? Do we feel the need to always know what's going on in others lives? It's interesting ... maybe it's just that we're always comparing ourselves to others and we have the constant need to know what everyone else is doing.
Also in regard to live journal: why do people write very personal things and leave it for the public to see? That always confused me... I mean, my live journal is mostly comprised to surveys, conversations with my residents/friends and random vents, but some people write their most intimate thoughts... no offense, I really don't want to know that kind of stuff.
Okay, I'm done for now. I hope you all enjoyed my random vent. Have a lovely evening. :)
