First day of school

leaving on a jet plane... tomorrow

Hello out there in live journal land! Sorry that I haven’t been updating recently, things have been crazy as usual. Yesterday I babysat in the morning (Amy used the potty! Woohoo!) And then I was productive all afternoon. I packed for Puerto Rico, which including trying on tons of clothes… ugh, then I typed up my new resume and cover letter for my summer job application (for all of those that don’t know, I’m applying to be an RA at CTY – the Center for Talented Youth in Baltimore… hopefully I’ll get it) Then I did some other random stuff that I can’t quite remember right now before heading over to Christine’s house for our “Sex and the City” marathon. It’s such a great show.

Today the girls and I all went into the city to see “Brooklyn” and wander around. The seats were amazing (center orchestra about 14 rows back – and we only paid $30!) and once again I LOVED the show. :) It’s on my top 5 list. After that we walked over and saw the tree, which was beautiful. We also took TONS of pictures in front of it, which was nice. Then we walked around Rockefeller center a bit more before heading over to Cozi’s for dinner. I have never been there, and it was cute. The best part was that they were selling Alex’s tea there, which was totally amazing! Then we walked around some more, went over to Macy’s (Jill found a dress—woohoo!) and then sat in Penn Station for a bit before taking the train home. All in all, it was a wonderful day.

Tomorrow we’re taking our mini-family vacation to Puerto Rico and I’m very excited. I just want to sit by the beach for a few days and soak up some sun. :) I also discovered that I have very few summer clothes that fit, but I’m not worrying about that right now.

So, I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and tons of fun. I’ll write all about Puerto Rico when I get back! :)
