First day of school

I can't believe it's supposed to snow!

It’s 2:19AM, do you know what your residents are doing? Yeah, mine are in the hallway running around – I just played Mommy and yelled at them. It is pretty funny that I am an RA, and basically I’m their Mom. Welcome to my life, these are my 30 children and I’m trying to get them through their freshman year at college… wish me luck.

I’m very nervous for next week because I have an Economics exam on Tuesday and my second QM exam on Thursday… however, after that I’m basically done for Thanksgiving break (which does make me happy!) I can’t believe that once we come back, we have two weeks before finals start – madness indeed!

Anyway, I finally got to talk to a dear friend yesterday who I haven’t spoken to in months (she knows who she is). We talked for about an hour just about everything and plans for over Thanksgiving break and intersession and it was great. After we got off the phone though I was so sad, I really miss my friends so much. You can see us all going off in our own directions and following our own dreams, and it’s hard to keep us all together. It just makes me sad…

Okay, I’m done talking now and I should really get some sleep. So, ladies and gents, have a lovely evening and I’m going to leave you with a quote:

“Dream what you want to dream; go where you want to go; be what you want
to be, because you have only one life and one chance to do all the things you
want to do...”
