First day of school

Rantings of a crazy college student...

First of all, I must say that this live journal thing is quite fun… I’m enjoying posting and having people post back and such. It’s a bit sad, I know, but it keeps me entertained. So, let’s see… what to write about. Well, today was my usual craziness Tuesday with QM, Sociology, Economics and CRSR. We convince my Sociology professor that the book was confusing and he doesn’t explain it, so we can’t have a quiz (thank goodness!) I also did my presentation on safe sex, STDs, and pregnancy in CRSR (for those who don’t know – that’s my RA class) and that went well. Craig told us that we got an A, and I ended up with a big bag of condoms left… that’s always exciting. I’ll have to have a safe sex program and give those away as prizes. The first night of the Newsday marching band festival was going on, and we could hear it. But Derek told me that only 4 out of the 17 bands performed because it was raining. Farmingdale goes on Thursday, so I’m going to try to get over to see them.

So right now I’m sitting here in my pjs, with my can of fresca and pineapple (I eat strange food, I know). I just finished my first draft of my ethics midterm paper on whether going to war can ever be seen as morally justified. My life is very exciting, I know. It’s almost 1am and I should be going to sleep soon, I figured I’d update my journal before I crash. I have a feeling that I’m going to be addicted to this thing… oh well.

My mom sent me glow-in-the-dark nail polish and lipstick today. I have to try that out later. I’m sure it’ll provide hours of entertainment. ;)

Anyway, I believe that’s all for now, so I’ll leave you with some lyrics and by on my way… have a great night ladies and gents.

“I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly
I'll do what it takes til' I touch the sky
I'll make a wish
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway
Out of the darkness and into the sun
But I won't forget all the ones that I loved
I'll take a risk
Take a chance
Make a change
And breakaway”

First day of school

Bananas

First to start, I ran out of shampoo this morning. Of course I was already in the shower and very wet when I realized this. Because I'm Sammi, I had two more bottles of shampoo, but where were they? In my closet in my bedroom. That would have involved naked Sammi running from the shower to my room and back leaving wet footprints... we couldn't have that, could we? No... So I used the last of it and suffered. Oh well.

For different news, Scott just drew me my army midterm review sheet. Because, as all of you know, I’m in the army now. (Just so I can sing) I do have to say that Scott looks pretty darn hot in his short shorts… oh baby, oh baby yes. (I took a picture of it, but it’s not developed yet) Let me tell you how much I love my residents… last night I gave Enza, Bonnie, Steph and Emma some condoms because they were left over from my RA presentation. They loved them. I just gave Scott one too – make sure you use them safely kids. The guys across the hall are quite funny, rather odd, but fun. It’ll be interesting to see who wins the baseball game tonight because I’m sure that no matter what, Matt will rub it in my face.

Scott says I should write about how… umm… and then… because… yeah… there we go. That was fabulous. Annie is on television right now and that makes me happy. I just finished my QM review sheet too and I’m going to meet my Ethics professor in a few.

To end this Scott is going to write his muffin joke for you all to enjoy: “So theres these two muffins and theyre in an oven. The first muffin says to the second muffic ‘It’s getting pretty hot in here.’ So the second muffin looks at him and says ‘OH MY GOD A TALKING MUFFIN AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!’k thanks
